Clutchmate is a browser extension that helps users extract agency data from Clutch.co listing pages. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

Data Collection

What We Collect

Clutchmate collects publicly available business information from Clutch.co pages that you choose to scrape, including:

  • Agency names

  • Ratings and review counts

  • Location information

  • Service offerings

  • Website URLs

  • Clutch profile URLs

What We Do NOT Collect

  • Personal information about you

  • Browsing history

  • Cookies or tracking data

  • Login credentials

  • Any data from websites other than Clutch.co

Data Storage

All scraped data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API (chrome.storage.local). This data:

  • Never leaves your browser

  • Is not transmitted to any external servers

  • Is not shared with third parties

  • Is automatically cleared after 1 hour of inactivity, or when you click "Clear"

Data Usage

The extension uses data solely to:

  1. Display scraped agency information in the extension popup

  2. Export data to CSV files that are saved to your local device

  3. Temporarily persist data so you don't lose progress if you close the popup

Clutchmate is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
